In the spirit of giving...

I firmly believe that change is good. While I have already experienced quite a few changes in my life this year, I thought I needed at least one more. In this case, my change translates into a hefty donation to Locks of Love.

In case it's not obvious, I have a lot of hair, both in thickness and length, so this should go a long way toward making a complete wig for someone.

End result. (Sorry, for the blurry pic, but the one that is sharp was taken from the front and not only does posting that pic go against remaining anonymous, but it's also an ugly picture.)

Shouldn't this make me exempt from any further participation in the holiday season?

Seconded - it looks great! And think how much time you'll save on shampooing - that was one impressive head of hair you had before :)

Looks fantastic, at least from the back! :)

Does it feel weird? How long has it been since you've had it that short?

SM - thanks!

Cath - thanks! Not only will my showers be shorter, but I won't walk around with wet hair for half of the day. Would you believe i was almost completely bald for the first two years of life?

chall - Thanks!

EGF - I think it's been about 5 years since it was this short and it was really long before that. It's good to change things up.
It does feel weird. At night I keep trying to move my hair out of the way only to find that it's not there. :)

Children schmildren. What are the chances they're selling those treasured donations to the Hair Club for Men? Just think. Your beautiful locks will be made into hairplugs so that fat, sweaty, fifty year old bald dudes can go to clubs and look superduper cool for the LAAAAYDEEES!

Your hair looks great! Very sleek!
That's lush that you've donated it, too - I'm sure it'll make someone a lovely new hairdo.
