What happened?

Today was one of those strange days. I worked my ass off, and I stayed late, but I have nothing to show for it. Even as I sit here on the couch staring at the computer, I can't quite remember what I did all day and why it took me so long.

I did a couple experiments, and I didn't like the results.
I aliquoted protein into a trillion tubes.
I sat through a very long lab meeting where I resisted the urge to gouge some of my lab mates eyes out.
I got yelled at by a homeless man for carrying a debit card instead of cash.

That's all I got. How it took 10 hours is beyond me. Apparently I inadvertently entered some kind of time sucking vortex.

Yay! I'm glad. It's only noon, but it's my biggest accomplishment so far today.

I hate those kinds of days, but they happen, so I just chalk it up to one of my life allotments of "wtf?" days.

hope you have productive days in your near future! :)
